7:30pm Saturday 30th September

Bring your flags and whistles as Bournemouth Concert Brass present their annual Last Night of the Proms concert at The Mowlem Theatre Swanage on Saturday 30th September 2017
Bournemouth Concert Brass are one of the South’s premier brass bands and have had success in recent competitions in Bugle and Torquay. The band recently entered the Brass Band Championships, West of England 1st section held in Torquay. Playing a piece called 'The Land of the Long White Cloud' by Philip Sparke the band came second. This means the band are invited to take part in the National Brass Band Championships for the whole of the UK to be held in Cheltenham in September. The test piece we have to play is a 3 movement piece called 'Tournament for Brass' by Eric Ball, we hope to play all or part of it at this concert
For this concert they will be featuring Fantasia on British Sea Songs, Jerusalem and of course finishing with Land of Hope and Glory, plus much more. Be prepared to be in good voice and join us for this much loved concert. Bring your flags and whistles, and you vocal chords! to join in this most patriotic event.
